The emergency department of Viljandi Hospital provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for all conditions. Children and pregnant women are also accepted.
In case of an acute psychiatric problem, it is better to go to our psychiatric clinic emergency room:
The Emergency Department (EMO) of Viljandi Hospital is located in Tervikum. During the night, the entrance door to the EMO is locked. Please press the doorbell and wait for the door to open.

Going to the Emergency Department
When you enter the EMO, you need to take a number from the queue machine. When your number appears on the screen, go to the registration desk and present your identity document. You will then be directed to the triage nurse, who will answer your questions about your medical problem in order to determine the exact nature of your condition and the method of treatment. Inform the nurse if you have a history of allergies, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
