Outpatient Clinic
The Viljandi Hospital Outpatient Clinic offers a wide range of specialized medical care, allowing patients to receive the necessary treatment without having to be admitted to the hospital. Qualified nurses in various specialties are also available to see patients.
The Outpatient Clinic features the following specialists: endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, infectious disease specialist, cardiologist, ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist, orthopedist, surgeon, pulmonologist, pediatrician, dermatologist and venereologist, nephrologist, neurologist, ophthalmologist, optometrist, occupational health physician, urologist, youth counselor, internist, internist-allergist, and rheumatologist.
In addition, we welcome patients to nurse consultations, which allow for a quick initial assessment and ensure consistent monitoring of patients with chronic conditions. At the outpatient clinic, nurses specializing in glaucoma, diabetes, foot care, pulmonology, thrombosis, internal medicine, stroke, ophthalmology, pediatrics, wound care, rheumatology, and infectious diseases provide consultations.
The outpatient clinic also operates a memory clinic, whose goal is to improve the early diagnosis and treatment pathway for patients with memory disorders, involving a network of support services close to their homes. Viljandi Hospital’s partner in providing support services for the Memory Clinic is the Dementia Competence Center.
