Jämejala Mental Health Center

At the Jämejala Mental Health Center, we provide services through a psychiatric clinic and a care and rehabilitation center.

The psychiatric clinic in the Jämejala Mental Health Village offers psychological and psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults, as well as emergency care. The psychiatric clinic is the only facility in Estonia that also treats psychiatric patients referred for treatment by court order.

A significant portion of the services provided at the Jämejala Mental Health Village consists of the care services offered by the Care and Rehabilitation Center: 24-hour general care services for clients with dementia in a specialized facility, and 24-hour specialized care services for adults with severe, profound, or chronic mental disorders who, due to their mental health condition, require guidance, counseling, assistance, care, or supervision.

The Care and Rehabilitation Center also offers treatment and rehabilitation services for people with established substance use disorders. The center’s Viljandi branch is located in the Jämejala mental health village; services are also provided in Ida-Viru County and Tallinn.
