Visiting Patients and Health Information
We ask that visitors come to see patients only if they are healthy. Even if you have mild symptoms (sore throat, mild cold), please do not visit, as there are many patients in the ward who are susceptible to illness and for whom even a mild viral infection can become very serious.
Tervikum
Patients may be visited during visiting hours. Visiting hours are Monday–Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This information is subject to change; please check the hospital’s website or call 434 3001 for the latest information on visiting hours.
Visitors are asked to leave their outerwear in the coat check located in the atrium on the 1st floor. The coat check at Tervikum is self-service, equipped with both coat hooks and lockable lockers, as well as a security camera.
Please do not bring flowers for patients!
Outside of visiting hours, you may bring packages for patients by leaving them in the package drop-off box. The package drop-off box is located in the atrium.
Information regarding your loved one’s medical condition and visiting hours can be obtained from the patient’s attending physician. Please call the clinical assistant at the nurses’ station first. Information on your loved one’s location and which nursing station to call can be obtained from the Emergency Department (ED) in the case of an emergency admission, or from the patient or the family member who brought the patient to the hospital in the case of a scheduled admission. The clinical assistant will leave a message for the attending physician with your contact information, and the attending physician will call you back as soon as possible.
